About

Our Story

Tulsa Educare opened its first school adjacent to Kendall-Whittier Elementary in 2006 as part of CAP Tulsa. In 2010, we continued our growth by opening a second school next to Hawthorne Elementary, and we became an independent entity. Our third school opened in 2012 and is located near MacArthur Elementary. In 2020, our fourth school opened next to Celia Clinton Elementary, becoming the 25th school in the Educare Learning Network.

Also in 2020, we launched Early Learning Works, an evolution of our Beyond the Walls program, which offers programming, tools, and services to the community and home child care providers, as well as partnering with community and faith-based organizations to promote literacy and learning for children birth through eight.

Today, we have a dedicated team of nearly 300 caring people providing services to over 650 children and their families and over 100 licensed child care providers. As experts in early childhood development, we provide high-quality early learning and services that promote overall child well-being.

Our Partners

Our work would not be possible without the myriad of support from funders, partner organizations, friends, colleagues, and parents. Thank you for your generous support and partnership in creating a world where a young child’s income, adverse experiences, and race do not predict their life success.
