Below is a list of current opportunities for talented candidates along with the minimum rate of pay.
Lead Teacher ($36K/yr minimum):
- Responsible for the total classroom operation, day-to-day task supervision of assigned Teacher Assistant(s) and is responsible for involving the Teacher Assistant(s) in planning and execution of daily class room activities.
- Teacher III:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Infant/Toddler or PK-3 Certification in the State of Oklahoma with experience working with infant, toddler or pre-school children. Position Preferences: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Special Education.
- Teacher IV:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or Bachelor’s Degree in Family Relations/Child Development or a closely related education based discipline with 6 college courses that equal 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Experience working with infant, toddler or pre-school children. Position Preference: Master’s Degree.
- PK-3/Early Childhood Certification: Teachers hired without a PK-3/ECE Certificate are required to begin the process to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
Associate Teacher ($11.25/hr minimum):
- Assist the Lead Teacher and other classroom staff in planning and providing a stimulating and comprehensive learning environment for infants, toddlers or pre-school children.
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or Associates Degree in Family Relations/Child Development or a closely related education based discipline with 6 college courses that equal 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Experience working with infant, toddler or pre-school children.
Teacher Aide ($10.50/hr minimum):
- Assist the Lead Teacher and other classroom staff in planning and providing a stimulating and comprehensive learning environment for infants, toddlers or pre-school children.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with appropriate endorsement or Certificate of Mastery.
Bilingual Family Advocate ($33K/yr minimum) :
- As a classroom position, has an intentional function in supporting the parents role in developing strong, positive parent/child relationships by enhancing their understanding of their child’s development, health and learning and by strengthening the parents role in their child’s school and educational experiences through both group and individual strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, Family Studies, Social Work or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience working with children and families, a member of the community and a requirement to complete a certain level of education within one year of employment.
